Agro Section manufactures crop protection products for agricultural use. Epoxy resins and polyester resins are produced by the resins section. The Foams Segment manufactures polyurethane foams, which are mostly utilized in the furniture industry for upholstered furniture and mattresses. The Silicates Segment produces sodium and potassium silicates. The packaging division produces glass packaging lanterns and jars for use in the food industry as well as headstone lamps. CIECH manufactures sodium bicarbonate under the SOBIC brand in factories in Germany and Poland. CIECH is one of the major manufacturers in the European Union, with a total manufacturing capacity of around 200 thousand tonnes per year. The Group's sodium bicarbonate has a wide range of applications, including the food sector (SOBIC Food), pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries (SOBIC Health Care), feed (SOBIC Feed), chemical (SOBIC Tec), and energy industries (flue gas purification).

November 2017	Expansion	CIECH Group invested over USD 2.65 million for the modernization and expansion of the sodium bicarbonate production unit in Germany to increase the production of products like dialysis soda. This investment included the expansion of the soda centrifugation, drying, sifting and decarbonization nodes at the plant.
January 2021	Recognition	Sodium bicarbonate from the CIECH’s factory in Germany has received a pharmaceutical market authorization. CIECH Soda Deutschland (CSD) has obtained the prestigious GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certificate, attesting to the highest quality of sodium bicarbonate production. This allows the German company of the CIECH Group to enter the promising pharmaceutical market.
June 2019	Expansion	The CIECH Group is launching a new production line for specialized sodium bicarbonate in Germany, used, among others, in dialysis. The new line for the production of sodium bicarbonate does not only increase the production capacity of the factory located in Stassfurt by more than 80 percent (50,000 tonnes per year), but it will also contribute to the expansion of the Group’s product portfolio by the most advanced and specialized variation of soda, used in the pharmaceutical industry and the treatment of kidney diseases.
