It also owns a smelting plant in China, OM Materials (Qinzhou) Co. Ltd, with a capacity of 80,000 metric tons per annum of high-carbon ferromanganese and 300,000 metric tons per annum of sintered ore. Furthermore, it owns and operates the Bootu Creek manganese ore mine in Northern Territory, Australia.
