Strategy
Capgemini follows an inorganic growth strategy for maintaining its position in the global business process outsourcing (BPO) market. The company is focusing on expanding and retaining its employee base in order to improve the overall productivity. For instance, in order to scale up its operation in India, the company has made a number of strategic partnership and acquisition deals. The acquisition of Kanbay International Inc, a global IT service firm specifically focused on the financial industry, in 2017, was one of the major strategies of the company. Furthermore, in the same year, Capgemini acquired IGATE, an IT service company headquartered in US. These acquisitions have helped the company to grow its workforce and strengthen its position in the market.
