November 2020	Collaboration	EdgeConneX announced a collaboration with Zenlayer, an edge cloud provider known for its worldwide coverage and on-demand services, to deliver powerful new Edge Cloud and Networking solutions to organisations near the EdgeConneX global data center footprint. On-demand bare metal cloud, direct access to all major public clouds and data centers, application acceleration, and managed hosting are all Zenlayer offerings. Working with EdgeConneX to provide these solutions locally to markets closer to enterprise sites would help ease hurdles to cloud adoption related to performance, security, and prices, as well as making hybrid and multi-cloud plans easier to execute.
August 2020	Acquisition	EdgeConneX announced that the company has been acquired by EQT Infrastructure from a group of investors led by Providence Equity Partners.
