September 2019	Expansion	EKF Diagnostics opened a new research & development facility at its Cardiff, UK headquarters. The new Special Projects Laboratory will focus on developing new applications for the company’s many point-of-care and central laboratory medical products to enable the company to enter new market sectors, as well as providing additional diagnostics sales and regulatory support.
August 2018	Agreement	EKF Diagnostics signed an agreement with McKesson Medical-Surgical Inc., a partner of the McKesson Corporation. McKesson is the oldest and largest healthcare company in the US, serving more than 50% of the US hospitals and 20% of the physicians. Hence, this agreement will help increase its molecular diagnostic sales in the US and around the world.
May 2017	Expansion	The company expanded the distribution of its procalcitonin liquicolor test into Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. It has started working closely with three major distributors covering the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam, and other countries to introduce procalcitonin (PCT) into hospitals.
