February 2023	Divestment	Huntsman Corporation has announced that it has secured all regulatory approvals required to complete the sale of its Textile Effects division to Archroma, a portfolio company of SK Capital Partners. Both parties expect the transaction to close on February 28, 2023. The agreed purchase price was $593 million in cash plus assumed pension liabilities, and Huntsman expects the net after tax cash proceeds to be approximately $540 million before customary post-closing adjustments.
September 2020	Product Launch	Huntsman Textile Effects has extended its industry-leading HIGH IQ brand- assurance program with the launch of HIGH IQ Lasting Black eco. Based on Huntsman’s award-winning AVITERA SE Black reactive dye, the new color-retention program will help mills, brands and retailers meet global demand for eco-friendly black shades that retain their intense color even after repeated washing.
December 2021	Product Launch	Huntsman Textile Effects says its new Avitera Rose SE dye for brilliant bluish-red shades significantly outperforms the best available dyeing technologies for cellulosic fibres and blends to deliver substantial water and energy savings, overall fastness and reduced costs. The technology is able to use less water and energy thanks to its low-temperature and high-speed wash-off technology. It is also said to deliver a ‘right-first-time’ performance, with compatibility, levelling properties, and on-tone build-up.
