Kingspan Group aims to retain its position in the global market by focusing on mergers and acquisitions, developing innovative and patent-protected proprietary technology, and manufacturing products for reducing the cost of production and meeting the environmental regulations and greenhouse gas emissions targets. It is working on increasing its product development. For instance, in 2018, the company achieved a 75% net zero energy, a significant increase from the 69% achieved last year. It plans to reach 100% by 2020. Moreover, 5.9% of the total energy use was generated from renewable sources on their manufacturing sites. Furthermore, every year, the company invests 1% of its revenue in R&D in creating industry-leading, next-generation products and solutions.
