The prize was given in recognition of creating static stain and temperature detection in a Rayleigh backscatter-based system. The unique technique was verified in a year-long British Geological Survey (BGS) experiment at the Hollin Hill National Landslip Laboratory in the United Kingdom.
August 2021	Product Development	QuantX has quickly become the instrument of choice for scholars, seismologists, and geophysicists, providing 50km of quantitative phase and amplitude data at 1m pitch. The new 100km working mode may be implemented retroactively to existing QuantX units as a software upgrade, extracting every last useable photon from the device.
