January 2019	Acquisition	Sonic completed the acquisition of Aurora Diagnostics, anatomical pathology provider in the US, with approximately 220 pathologists and 1,200 staff, operating 32 anatomical pathology practices across 19 US states.
September 2018	Collaboration	Sonic collaborated with ProMedica Health System, Inc. in the mid-west of the US. The collaboration will provide inpatient reference testing services for ProMedica’s hospital-based rapid response laboratories, as well as a comprehensive menu of outreach testing services for physicians based in Ohio, Michigan, and parts of Indiana.
July 2018	Acquisition	Sonic Healthcare has acquired Pathologie Trier, one of the largest anatomical pathology practices in Germany. Pathologie Trier operated four laboratories in West German cities with two laboratories strategically located within large hospital facilities.
August 2017	Collaboration	Sonic and NYU Health System collaborated to form a laboratory operating in New York and trading as NYU Langone Diagnostics, LLC. The collaboration is focused on serving more than 2,000 physicians that NYU Langone Diagnostics, LLC employs throughout the five boroughs of New York City and the two counties on Long Island.
August 2017	Collaboration	A strategic collaboration has been signed between Sonic Healthcare Limited and the Australian Government for immunochemical fecal occult blood test supplies and services for the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program. This was the outcome of a competitive open market request for the tender process. It is estimated that, when fully rolled out, around 4 million eligible Australians will be invited annually, compared to around 2.8 million in 2017.
July 2017	Acquisition	Sonic Healthcare Limited acquired Medical Laboratory Bremen (MLB) in July 2017. MLB operates two laboratories in Bremen and Celle, in the North-West of Germany and is managed by its five pathologist partners who will remain with Sonic.
February 2017	Collaboration	Sonic has entered into a collaboration with Baptist Memorial Health Care (headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee) for a bacteriology Center of excellence. The collaboration will operate a standalone, 24/7, state-of-the-art bacteriology laboratory which will serve Baptist’s 17 hospitals in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas, as well as Sonic’s existing referrers in the mid-south of the US.
February 2017	Collaboration	Sonic and Western Connecticut Health Network has collaborated to form a Constitution Diagnostics Network, to provide enhanced laboratory services throughout Connecticut.
January 2017	Acquisition	Sonic acquired the German Staber Laboratory group. The group today operates three well- established hub laboratories in the cities of Munich, Dresden, and Kassel as well as 14 regional, specialty, and hospital laboratories across Germany.
January 2017	Acquisition	Sonic acquired West Pacific Medical Laboratory, a US laboratory business network of three clinical and anatomic pathology laboratories located in California.
