Tereos’ key strategy is the implementation of the Cereal campaign which has helped in improving the production of starch & sweetener products in the plants including Marckolshei, Aalst, and Zaragoza in Europe. As part of the campaign, the processing of corn in Brazil has increased to 188,000 tons in the financial year 2022 compared to the previous year and the company has received ISO 9001 quality management certification that helps in boosting customer satisfaction. Also, the facility in Indonesia has been constantly working on energy usage reduction that helps in the sustainable positioning of the company and has been awarded Indi 4.0 by the Ministry of Industry, Indonesia. This award serves as a recognition for the digitalization of the production site which translates to better production efficiency.

In addition, the company similar to its sugar crops has rolled out the Sustainable Agriculture Initiative Platform for its cereal growers.
