Vinavil S.p.A. Overview

Vinavil S.p.A. (Vinavil) is a well-known Italian manufacturer of dispersion polymers and one of the largest in Europe. It manufactures and sells its products to various industries including textiles, coating, adhesives, and building and construction. It operates through two segments, namely dispersion polymers and solids. Under the dispersion polymers segment, it manufactures vinyl and acrylic dispersions, re-dispersible polymer powders, solid polymers, and others. Vinavil has been acquired by MAPEI S.p.A in 1994.

It has three production sites in Italy, one each in the US, Canada, and Egypt. It held assets worth USD 56.1 million in 2017.

Strategy

Vinavil aims at investing in expansion and R&D to cater to the changing needs of various end-use industries, such as adhesives, paints and coatings, and textile. In addition to this, it focuses on collaborating with qualified customers to find solutions on product innovation and research projects.
