Threat of New Entrants
For setting up an embedded GUI development software development company, the capital requirement is expected to be high. This can be attributed to the hefty investment in research & development. Accessing advanced technology is expected to pose a significant challenge for the new entrant. In addition, a high technology complexity is involved in embedded GUI software development, which requires highly skilled programmers. Brand loyalty is expected to be moderate, and hence, new entrants can attract existing and new customers by offering the best value proposition. Thus, the threat of new entrants in the global embedded GUI development software market is anticipated to be moderate during the study period.
Bargaining Power of Suppliers
The number of embedded GUI development software providers in the global market is high, and several key players are coming up with advanced products incorporated with AI technology. The uniqueness of the competitors' software offerings is substantial, with new features and various pricing options. Switching cost is expected to be low as buyers can switch to other providers. The cloud-based offering gives buyers the ability to switch to other products available in the market. Thus, the bargaining power of suppliers in the global embedded GUI development software market is expected to be moderate during the study period.
Threat of Substitutes
There are other substitute interface options available in the global market, such as touchscreen UI, menu-driven interface, command-line interface, and conversational UI. However, embedded GUI software has gained significant popularity among the end customers compared to other interfaces. The buyer’s propensity to substitutes is expected to be low as the graphical interface is user-friendly compared to others. Thus, the threat of substitutes in the global embedded GUI development software market is expected to be low during the study period.
Bargaining Power of Buyers
The number of end customers of the embedded GUI development software tools is high as various end-use industries have shifted towards apps for their daily operations. IoT is anticipated to increase the demand for graphical user interfaces during the forecast period. Pricing sensitivity is expected to be moderate as the features, and advanced technology is the prime factor for the UI developers. Although buyers can easily substitute to other products due to cloud-based deployment, they do not frequently change their software providers. Thus, the bargaining power of buyers in the global embedded GUI development software market is expected to be low during the study period.
Intensity of Rivalry
The embedded GUI development software market is expected to witness high competition among existing players in the next few years.
